Arts-Based Theory of Change and Advocacy
Turn Culture and Art into Tools for Social Transformation
This course equips CSO representatives to effectively use art and culture in advocacy campaigns. Participants explore concepts of culture and art in depth, learn the components of theory of change, gain practical skills in audience and message design, and discover creative campaign tools. With special emphasis on the Syrian context, the course blends theoretical knowledge with workshop activities over two training days.
What you will learn

- ✓ Identify art's unique power in social change and its 4 key impacts
- ✓ Apply theory of change components (goal, outcomes, pathway, assumptions, indicators) to a campaign

- ✓ Analyse target audiences and design effective advocacy messages
- ✓ Use art tools (documentary, mural, community theatre, social media, etc.) in campaign design
