A more equal future through art and culture
WeART Syria was born from the belief that art and culture are a vital force in empowering women and young girls. Through theatre, music, literature and the visual arts, participants discover their potential, make their voices and stories heard, and gain visibility in society.
Supported by the European Union and led by the Flying Broom Foundation (with contributions from ANGEF and the Flying Aunties), this two-year initiative (2024–2026) aims to strengthen the capacity of Syrian youth and civil society through culture and art.
